Nestled on the right bank of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, Hubei Province, the East Lake is a vibrant ecological sanctuary and a cherished national scenic spot. Spanning 87 square kilometers, including a 32.8 square kilometer lake, this area is segmented into six unique zones.

East Lake, a renowned tourist destination since ancient times, stands as the largest center for Chu culture. Historically, it has been graced by the presence of eminent figures like Qu Yuan and Li Bai, who have left their mark on this scenic area. There are many intriguing sites, such as the memory of Qu Yuan's Yin Pavilion, Qu Yuan statue, Chu City, Chu City, Chu Tiantai and Li SAO tablet, memory of the Taiping martyrs of the nine female pier, Lu Su horse tomb relics, Li Bai put the eagle relics of the eagle platform and so on.

Ma'Anshan Forest Park, located in the southeast of Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area, is a natural haven renowned for its picturesque landscapes. The park epitomizes the two major ecological characteristics of forest and wetland, reflecting the "nature, ecology, fresh and wild interest". Visitors can explore the serene Lakeside Wetland reserve and encounter over 100 monkeys at the park's Monkey Mountain. The park also offers a variety of recreational activities, including barbecuing, forest ziplining, bumper cars, crescent car, forest racing, laser tag and other recreational projects. Attracting around 600,000 visitors annually, Ma'anshan Forest Park is affectionately referred to as Wuhan's "back garden of Wuhan" and the "natural oxygen bar".
